Tesla, the electric-car maker, will enter the Indian market in ‘early 2021’ as it is confirmed by the Indian transport minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari. In the very fast of its journey within India; Tesla will start with sales and then might also look at assembling and manufacturing based on the response, the transport minister added. The CEO of Tesla Mr. Elon Musk also confirmed this after having had a visit to Maharashtra this October.

Tesla is expected to launch approximately five (5) cars in early 2021. Among them, Tesla Model X, Tesla Model S, and Tesla Model 3 are launching very soon in India at an estimated price of Rs. 2.00 Crore, Rs. 1.50 Crore, and Rs. 60.00 Lakh accordingly.
The first model among them will be Model 3, the cheapest Tesla vehicles, with prices starting at over 5.5 to 6 million Indian rupees, according to a report in the Economic Times this Saturday.
Tesla Model 3 is available with dual and single motor options. Single motor versions including the Standard Range of 423km and can reach up to 0-100kph within 6 seconds and Dual-motor versions including the Long Range AWD, which has a range of 568km and can do 0-100kph in just 4.5 seconds.
